๐ฟ New Series: "Unstretched Reflections" โ Live Abstracts from the Botanic Garden
"Unstretched Reflections" is a series of original acrylic studies painted live at the Japanese pond in the Botanic Garden. Each piece captures fleeting patterns of light, ripples, and colour across the pondโs surface, bringing meditative beauty to contemporary interiors. Available unframed for easy shipping or pickup at the garden, these works are part of a living series created through the seasons.

Painting Between Rain and Reflection: My Residency at the Japanese Garden
This summer, Iโve been painting live at the University of Alberta Botanical Garden as part of an art residency rooted in reflection and nature. From quick ink sketches to delicate watercolour postcards, each piece captures the quiet essence of the Japanese Garden. While most paintings will debut in a future exhibit, visitors can catch a glimpse on Sundays while I paint onsite.
